The World’s 1st Manager-less Football Club uses fan power to uncover the next Jamie Vardy.
United London FC, the only club that gives football fans the power to vote on a real starting eleven, begins its search for the next Jamie Vardy in London on the 18th June. We are looking for around 500 footballers to turn up at Hackney Marshes and try out to be part of our 33-man squad.
The trials will be overseen by qualified, ex-professionals and we will be joined by senior representatives from the London and Essex FA, a Cabinet Minister and we’ll even be making our first high profile signing! The event will be filmed by Sky Sports News and a team of documentary makers who will be following the club and players’ journey throughout the season. The best players can even win prizes on the day.
United London FC is the brainchild of Mark North and has been created to provide a platform for talented players from in/around London to get noticed by larger clubs across Europe and give them the opportunity to get scouted and signed. With 8.2m registered football players in the UK today, we know that there must be other non-league/released players like Jamie Vardy, Chris Smalling and Yannick Bolasie who are just waiting for their chance. All of our games and training sessions will be filmed and made available to managers, scouts and clubs across the world.
The club already has hundreds of online managers signed up across the UK, USA, South America, Europe and Australia ready to champion the players and lead the club to glory.
We will be working with a major digital sports agency that allows us to tap into their network of over 20m sports fans each month. Each of our players will have their own dedicated player profile on www.unitedlondonfc.com with highlights of their matches shared across this network, giving them the very best chance to become full-time professional players.
